What is the nature of the following sharp and slow waves?

These appear in the parasagittal derivations only. They resemble spike-and-wave. They are either electro-negative anteriorly or electropositive posteriorly or both. The patient is asleep, as evidenced by the lack of EMG and eye movements and the background rhythms, which are largely in the theta and delta arrange. Hence, V-waves are the most likely, and the following page (The saame page as aabove on the referential montage) provides very strong evidence for this. Note the primary location at CZ.
